The opening of the Town Hall in Merthyr Tydfil will provide students with a fully equipped industry standard recording studio, 18 PC editing suite (Cubase and Pro Tools systems), and three large rehearsal spaces; as well as your typical teaching rooms.
This website will be available for our students to showcase their talents and will regularly feature live recordings of the events that they take part in as well as studio recordings carried out during the course.

Ricci Coughlin specialises in composing and composition for media. He also delivers business and music software lectures.
Ricci was previously signed with Hollywood based music licensing company scoreAscore and has his placed music for major companies around the world such as BBC, Amazon Prime, RTE, VOX and multiple films included The Gambler and Exodus - Gods and Kings.
He also runs his own music library TrailerTrax - www.trailertrax.co.uk.
He has been teaching for over eleven years and has experience in delivering A Level, BTEC and UAL Music as well as peripatetic tuition.
Andrew delivers units in marketing and event production as well as personal and professional development.
Andrew has been PM on hundreds of projects and performances over the past two decades as well as having vast experience in stage management.
With a degree specialising in drama and performing arts as well as a wealth of music experience, he is perfectly suited to this role in helping students gain confidence in the planning and production of a performance project.
