I feel like my composition skills were the best along with my musical theory knowledge, punctuality, and my knowledge of studio equipment. My songwriting skills were average I struggle with writing lyrics but the backing track was decent. My mixing and editing on this track was very mediocre, the drums were un even and some instruments were inaudible, I also didn't use any auto tune on the vocals because of a lack of time. I had previous experience in composing by using my own DAW interface at home practicing different techniques along side composing. My knowledge of music theory helps a lot with composing.  

 

  Contrasting this, my deadlines for completing tasks was poor. This was due to my lack of research and working at home. I would like to begin doing research at home and completing tasks on time.

Project one. 

• I learnt music theory, and putting the music theory into practice. 

• I developed research and analysis skills by analyzing two songs 

• I developed my composition skills by composing an epic sci fi trailer

• My presentation skills were improved by presenting my work in task 2

Project two

• My research skills were developed to a further extent in task one by researching into studio equipment.

• I developed a knowledge of studio equipment 

• I learnt how to fix and master 

• my problem solving skills were improved by fixing the Metallica song

• I learnt how to mi up instruments and record them in the studio

• My overall studio knowledge has improved

• My presenting skills were improved by creating a presentation for the class

• I gained a knowledge about what it takes performing live

• I put my knowledge into practice by playing in a live event

• I improved my evaluating skills by evaluating my previous projects.
